Monthly Mens ACTS Gathering

  We will be meeting on:

WHEN:  Friday, November 19nd, 7:00PM
WHERE:  St. Brendan’s Episcopal Church (4207 Mendenhall Loop Road; look for the church’s sign on the left side of the road as you are on Loop Rd. nearing Back Loop Road).

We’ll meet on the third Friday in November, rather than the usual fourth Friday due to the Thanksgiving holiday season.  We had a wonderful, enthusiastic group of men at our meeting on October 22.  We shared inspiring music, great food, Spirit-filled sharing, and the brotherly love in Christ that is a part of our mutual love of our Blessed Savior, Christ Jesus.

Many expressed the desire to meet on a Friday that would not conflict with the Thanksgiving family holiday week rather than to cancel it.  That decision explains this message to you.  Those of us who met want to see YOU at the next gathering!

You’ll receive the usual reminder notification a few days prior to the November 19 meeting, but this will let you mark your calendar in advance.  In the meantime, think about the following idea that was offered by one of our brothers during our October meeting.  Think about the moment, or moments, in the time between the October and November meetings that you felt “closest to Christ,” and share that with the rest of us on November 19.
